Robert Predmore Obituary
News Death Notice
PREDMORE, Robert Z. Age 85 of Medway, passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 in Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Alexandria, Missouri on April 9, 1924 the son of George & Laura (Otto) Predmore. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp and a member of the American Legion. He retired from carpentry and B.G. Danis Construction as a Superintendant after over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Yvonne (Dorsey) Predmore, Rev. Bobbie Predmore, Beverly (Bob) Brandhuber, Shelley Predmore, Peggy O'Ryan, and Ruthie Laux, 2 grandchildren Michelle (Tyler) Meador and Michael Brandhuber, 4 great grandchildren Lauren, Josh, and Jacob Meador and Jack Brandhuber, 2 brothers William (Mary) Predmore and Albert (Judy) Predmore and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ted Predmore and 2 nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 am in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio with Rev. Carla Stengel officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special Thank You to everyone in the Pulmonary Unit at Miami Valley Hospital and to Doctors Thakore and Murphy. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to the American Lung Assn, 7560 McEwen Rd., Dayton, Oh 45459 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420.

I didnt really know Rob but did care for him in some of his final days at Miami Valley Hospital in the pulmonary unit. I loved the family and have really been touched by each and every one of you that I have met!! It was such a honor to know him and will always remember what a great family you guys were and how you each encouraged me and pushed me to follow my dreams. My prayers are with you all! God bless.

I worked with Bob in 1978 and 1979. I have shared stories of that experience with many people. I remember Bob as being a fair man that led by example. He was a mentor to many people. God bless your family.
