Strickland, Robert "Bob"

Robert H. Strickland (Bob), age 83 of Hamilton, was called home Saturday, January 18, 2025. Born in Corbin, Kentucky on April 14, 1941, Bob graduated from St. Camillus Academy in Corbin then Eastern Kentucky University. During his professional career, he held various positions at Proctor and Gamble, Champion Paper, and also dedicated over 30 years of employment to General Electric. In his leisure time, Bob enjoyed working on cars, welding, photography, reading, and spending time at Clark Lake with family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Lee Strickland, and is survived by his children: Rob Strickland (Shelly) and Mark (Corrie); his grandchildren: Brooks; and Sarah and Nathan (and their mother Shelly Strickland); and his sisters Dr. Joanne Blevins and June Wilson. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Hazel Strickland, and his brothers Franklin and R.J. Mitchell (Dorothy).
