Robert WALLING Obituary

WALLING Jr., Robert J. 75, of Piqua, passed away at 6:51 pm Monday, June 18, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Dayton. He was born March 27, 1943 in Piqua to the late Robert and Rosemary (Tatman) Walling. Survivors include his five children, Robert J. (Anne) Walling III, Kathleen (Greg) Starr, Christine (Brad) Anderson, Patrick (Tracey) Walling, Mark (Ashley) Walling; ten grandchildren; one sister, Susan Walling; four brothers, John Walling, Jerry Walling, Larry Walling, Bruce Walling; one aunt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Anne. Bob was a graduate of Chaminade High School and the University of Dayton. He went on to serve proudly in the United States Navy. He was a dedicated tax accountant for over 50 years serving clients all over the Greater Dayton area. Bob was a proud member of the American Legion Post #184 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. A visitation time to honor Mr. Walling's life will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm, Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Private interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Legion Post #184, 301 W. Water St. Piqua, OH 45356. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com.
