Robert Wilmer Obituary
Robert R. Wilmer, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Bob was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 2, 1937 to Russell Wilmer and Dorothy (Roesal) Wilmer. He was an adoring husband for 60 years to Sandra M. (LaFever) Wilmer and a loving father to 5 children. He was a devout parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church for 58 years. Bob was employed at Bearings Incorporated for 35 years, and upon retiring he worked as a long-haul car transportation specialist for King's Toyota for 20 years. Bob was most passionate about spending time with his children and family. Bob is survived by his wife, Sandra Wilmer; 5 children and their spouses; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.

Sandy and Family-- my heart aches for your loss. Bob was always so much fun when we played chair-volleyball, he kept us laughing. He remembered me from Beckett Paper Co. when he was working at Bearings, Inc. They say Grief is love with no place to go... Not true... Love stays in your heart forever!
