Here we are.... your anniversary.... You popped up in my email and it was strange, but a million tingles ran through my body, I had an influx of memories, those of us, teenage girls, innocent trouble, laughing, chasing boys, just living, friends. Memories of you that I try to suppress. I love you girl. I think of you often. My daughter carries your name with pride. I hope Heaven is amazing. Tell God I said wassup! :) Until we meet again, stay beautiful babe!

Our Dearest Sasha

A warm stream of light shines down from heaven today,

It glistens our faces covered with tears,

For we have lost our dear Sasha,

Life will never be the same as when she was here.

God looks down from heaven and sees our sorrow,

A beautiful young woman has left our embrace,

With no warning or sign to prepare us for what was to come,

She was ripped from beneath us at such a fast pace.

A daughter, A friend,

A listener, A lover,

A laugher, and a fighter as well,

Sasha fought for so long to bless us with her presence,

Where are we to turn now that she is gone?

The war she was battling has finally came to a halt,

She can live with no pain now,

For God has seen Sasha suffering,

And He could take it no more,

He lent his hand down to Sasha and at first she turned away,

She knew that we wanted her to stay,

But the path God showed her was without pain and sickness,

So Sasha grasped God’s hand and he showed her the way.

As we stand here today and hold on so tightly to our memories,

For they are all we have left,

We selfishly ask ourselves why our dear Sasha,

Why not someone else?

But Sasha would never want it that way,

She is with God now,

Not sick nor hurting,

She sits next to Him at his temple of greatness and she waits,

Sasha waits to see us smile,

For that is what she would want,

We will never forget our dear Sasha,

And she will always watch over us.

R.I.P.
