News Death Notice
HOLZWARTH, Thomas E. age 54 of Twinsburg, Ohio, passed away June 19, 2014 in Cleveland. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Karen (Zenisek), his three children Mark, Victoria and Eleanore Holzwarth, his parents Robert and Dorothy Holzwarth, his five brothers Richard (Sandra), Lawrence, Stephen, Nicholas, and Christopher Holzwarth, and his sister Mary Jo (Roberto) Silva. Tom was raised in Centerville and graduated from Alter High School in 1978. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Education and Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati and his Master's in Applied Mathematics from Cleveland State University. Tom was an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking. He loved music and was involved with his church choir. One of Tom's many accomplishments was earning his private pilot's license last year. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St Clair Ave. Cleveland OH 44110 or the First Congregational Church of Twinsburg, 9050 Church St. Twinsburg OH where a memorial service with be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00am. So sad to only learn of this five years later. Tom played a large part in our lives back in college, and was one of the ushers at our wedding.

Tom was a very talented, very intelligent man who marked everything he did with a sense of artistry and grace. I will always remember, and endeavor to imitate, his warm and gracious manner, his patience with everyone around him, and most of all, his listening ear.
