Robert Coleman "Bob" Gordon

Robert "Bob" Coleman Gordon, age 83, of Bremen, Georgia passed away on February 25, 2026. Robert was born on September 10, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Thomas Gordon and Roberta Gordon.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas "Tom" Gordon.

Bob served our country in the United States Army. He worked as the Director of Corporate Relations with the Georgia Institute of Technology for many years. He loved traveling and fully utilized his Master's Degree in International Business working with Georgia Power and at the British Consulate. He enjoyed teaching and worked at numerous educational institutes including Cleveland State University, University of New Orleans, University of Bath in England and was a beloved substitute teacher at Bremen High School.

Robert leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure his memory, including his spouse, Lynn 'Thomasson' Gordon; children, Robert "Rob" Gordon II (Angela) of Dothan, Alabama and Elizabeth "Betsy" Gordon of St. Augustine, Florida; brother, Richard Gordon (Annella) of Georgia; sisters, Anne Lemasurier (Marty) of Acworth, Georgia and Susan Hance (Mike) of Texas; grandchildren, John Elliott "Jack" Kasting and Ronald Troy "Chip" Kasting; mother-in-law, Betty Thomasson; and brother-in-law, David Thomasson (Carrie).

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the funeral home from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 1:00 pm with Mrs. Jennifer Kirbas officiating and Mrs. Carol Murphy, Mrs. Amy Harrison, and Rev. Duane McManus speaking. .
