William E. "Bill" HECKER

1942 - 2018

HECKER, William E. "Bill" Age 76 of Centerville, OH formerly of West Carrollton, OH, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 26, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to William and Roslyn (Weekley) Hecker. Bill was a huge Ohio State fan who loved to golf and fish, taking his grandkids along golfing to "caddy" for him. He was a true Ford man who loved performance cars and his cats, Pookie and Auggie. He was a kind and gentle man, who knew no strangers, and could make anyone laugh. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Bill loved his family, especially his grandkids, and will be greatly missed by all. Bill is survived by Lisa, his loving wife of 21 years; three sons, Tim (Susan) Hecker, Michael (Elizabeth) Hecker and Marcus Hecker; two step daughters, Kristine (Jeff) Pfarrer and Karie (Quinn) Murray; one step son, Kris Schneider; eight grandchildren, Thomas, Lexi, Sarah, Ben, Nick, Madi, Kristopher and Wyatt; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; the boys' mother, Trisha (Gilbert) Hecker; and a sister, Barbara Campbell . A Funeral Service will be held on February 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A visitation will be at the funeral home on February 19 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at David's Cemetery.
