I first met Bill in the Detroit sales office-Birmingham location when I was assigned to that office. I was at the Birmingham office with Bill until it closed in 1975. The Birmingham office group was a small but close group. Bill was always a gentleman with a sense of humor. When the office closed most of us relocated to the Dayton home office of Delco. I knew Bill during the Delco-Dayton days but we had different assignments so we did not interact much during those days. Much later I joined the Delco retiree Tuesday morning breakfast group. Bill was always a lot of fun during those gatherings with his comments. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. He had a long and good life with a family to be proud of.
