David Puka Obituary
Age 35, of Wilmington, DE, died suddenly on November 2, 2012.
Born, raised and residing all of his life in Wilmington, DE, Dave was a 1996 graduate from Concord High School. He then briefly attended Delaware Technical Community College, however completed his certification program in Graphic Design from Chubb Institute in Springfield PA in June 2004.
He was employed at various businesses in the area over the years including Fibre Fixers, Claymont, DE, Shop Rite in Tallyville, DE, and Hatfields Seafood in Chadds Ford, PA. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus, 1st degree. Dave had a talent for art, enjoyed reading, enjoyed sci-fi movies, was a collector of comic books and was known as a technology enthusiast. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends.
David is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Henry Ewing Sr., and paternal grandparents, Andrew and Olga Puka. He is survived by his parents, David and Sandra Ewing Puka; brother, Matthew Puka Sr. and wife Cecilia; his goddaughter and niece, Maria; niece, Isabella and nephew, Matthew Puka; maternal grandmother, Ann Ewing; also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's viewing on Tuesday, 8-11 am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE. Interment Chester Bethel Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.

I am sorry for your loss.i remember growing up with dave.he was such a wonderful person.he always made me laugh.i will miss dave he was like a brother to me.we had great memories together. my deepest sympathy goes out to dave,sandy,and family.if u need anything I am always here. I was devastated hearing the news. I would do anything to be at the viewing tomorrow but I'm currently stuck at college. Little Dave was so hilarious and a blast to be around. I'm going to miss all the Christmas's we spent together and I am truly sorry for the loss. He will be truly missed by everyone.

Brian, Melanie and I are so sad. We truly send love and prayers to you all, Sandy, Dave, Matt and family. I remember scouts, Halloween, and so many more really great times our families shared. David was always busy having fun and keeping Brian and Matt on their toes. I know there are no words that can provide comfort, but please know we send our hugs.

Dave,Sandy and Matt,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am devastated by the loss of David, who I had the honor of seeing him grow up from the age of four. He was through many difficulties but was trying to make his way back. He had incredible artistic ability and he always showed my family kindness and I will miss going to the Marvel Comic movies with him.. I will truly miss him and his smile

Dave will be missed. He was a great friend of mine. Between co-op at Concord High School to Hadfields, we were always... having fun, always laughing. We'd always say, "We're living like Rock Stars!" When I think of Dave, I'm reminded of happy times. My prayers are with the whole Puka family.
