Age 52, of Wilmington, DE died peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2005, from complications of a July automobile accident.
Dennis was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Newtown Square, PA. He was a 1970 graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bloomsburg State College. At the time of the accident he worked in sales at Staver Hydraulics. Previously he was employed at Gallagher Fluid Seals, Ames Taping Tools, Braden Winch, and Senco. He was a member of Saint David's Episcopal Church. He served on the Board of Directors of Brandywine Little League. He was a former president of the Oak Lane Manor Civic Association. He was a loving and caring husband, father, son and brother.
He will be sorely missed by his wife of 26 years, Amy; his sons Gregory and Daniel; his sisters, Mary Beth McCloy and Lisa Cianfaro; his brothers, Michael, Francis, and Edward; and 14 nieces and nephews. His parents, Joyce and Francis Myers, precede him in death.
His family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Specialty Select Hospital located in St. Francis Hospital and Temple University Hospital for their care of Dennis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at St. David's Church, 2320 Grubb Road, Wilmington, DE 19810 on Tuesday, April 26, at 1 pm. Friends may call from 6-9 pm on Monday, April 25, at CHANDLER'S FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803.
