Edward BANDURSKI Obituary

Edward J. Bandurski Age 89 of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Aston, PA, died July 7, 2004 at Churchman Village in Newark. Ed was born in Philadelphia, PA to Stanley and Louise Drozd Bandurski, and lived in Wilmington for more than 30 years. He had been a boiler operator for Phoenix Steel for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and he loved his home and yard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley and Walter Bandurski; sister, Wanda Bandurski; and his wife, Helen Schmidt Bandurski, who died March 7, 2004. Survivors include his daughter, Helen M. Gatchel of Lewes, DE; sister, Helen Marriner and Dorothy Kozlowski, both of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Robert David Gatchel and Gretchen Christine Gatchel; and great grandchildren, Stephen Ross Gatchel and Valerie Lynn Gatchel. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 12, at the PAGANO FUNERAL HOME, 3711 Foulk Rd., Bethel Twp., PA, where family and friends may call from 10-11 am. Interment will be in the Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bethel Twp., PA. Donations may be made the American Heart Association, 625 W.
