Edward F. Dalecki

Age 84, of Wilmington, passed away on December 21, 2010, at Ingleside Assisted Living Home.

Born in Wilmington, DE on August 22, 1926, he was the youngest of seven children to the late Adam and Wladyslawa Dalecki. Edward was a Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during WWII. He was a barber and retired from the State of Delaware. He enjoyed the beach, the Philadelphia Phillies, playing cards with his family, and the family dogs, especially Fi-Fi, Zeus, and Maximus.

Edward was predeceased by his loving wife, Esther. He will be dearly missed by his five daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa Munford of Tampa, FL, Patricia Dalecki-Doble and husband Charles of Newark, DE, Barbara Quattro and husband Anthony of Bear, DE, Joanne Dalecki of Wilmington, DE, and Rita Wiley and husband Floyd of Middletown, DE; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at the CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME, 2309 Lancaster Ave. in Wilmington, on Monday evening, December 27 at 7:15 pm. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday evening, prior to service, from 6-7:15 pm. Committal Services will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd. in Bear, on Tuesday afternoon, December 28 at 2 pm.
