What a caring, fun Uncle! He was such a caring man, taking loving care of Aunt Harriett for so many years. We have such great memories of Uncle Eddie. The first thing out of his mouth at the beach was, "How's the water? Have you been in yet?" We had so much fun at the beach with him. He was a great husband, father, Uncle, and friend to all. God bless him in heaven with Aunt Harriett!

I am thankful to have known Ed and Harriet. They were some of the glue of the beach bunch, and became dear friends of my parents Penn and Jeannette Isaacs, and so of mine. Eddie (Harriet's pet name became his beach name, too) was a kind man, a great swimming partner, a non-judgmental listener, a proud parent and grandparent. He and Harriet were loyal and thoughtful friends to my mother in her last years. I miss them both and send my condolences to Michael, Christian, Lise, Shannon, DJ, Kristi and their families. I have a window piece of Harriet's pottery with stained glass that I asked for when they moved back to Townsend, and I see it and think of them with love almost every day. Pat Isaacs

A kind, generous, fun, and hard working man. I was blessed to have an Uncle like him. I will miss him very much.

Awe, such a sweet man. I know he will be missed terribly by his family. I always enjoyed talking with him at the mailbox, he would joke about the amount of catalogs his wife was getting. May he rest in peace.
