Nottingham, PA - Eleanor Marie Fields, age 79, of Nottingham, PA went home to the Lord on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Ellen was a kind, loving woman who adored her family. She was an amazing wife, Mom, MomMom, GGMom, sister, daughter, and friend. Ellen had a quick wit and contagious sense of humor. She was absolutely in love with her grandchildren. Ellen was a committed Christian and always sought to honor the Lord in all she did. She grew up in an extraordinary, loving family and was also blessed with many lifelong friendships. Ellie and her husband Ron were deeply in love and were proud to celebrate 61 years of marriage. They raised their five children in Wilmington, DE and moved to Nottingham in 1993. Ellen's legacy of love and laughter will continue in the lives of the family and friends who adored her right back.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald W. Fields Sr.; her children: Ronald Fields Jr. and wife, Michele; Karen Feeley; Kathleen Capel and husband, James; John Fields and wife, Heidi; and Mari Ferm and husband, Jordan. She was blessed with 13 precious grandchildren: Ashley Skarda (Loren), Joseph J. Feeley III, Alicia Williams (Casey), James Tyler Capel (Derek), Jillian Mahoney (Christopher), Abigail Fields; Rebecca Fields, Madison Ferm, Jonathan Fields, Samantha Ferm, Andrew Fields, Benjamin Fields, and Jack Ferm; and her great granddaughter, Ainsley Skarda; She is also survived by her siblings: Joan Wilkinson, Linda Seitelman, Daniel Conner (Sandra), and Patricia Bahr; her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Chuck Cavanaugh; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Ellen was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph J. Feeley III; her parents, Edward and Bernice Conner; in-laws, Frank and Ena Fields; her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Raymond Ingram, brothers-in-law, Ronnie Figgatt, Dale Bahr, and Michael Seitelman; and several special nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 AM-12 PM on Monday, August 23 at the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd, Newark, DE 19702. A service will follow at Noon. Burial will take place at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, August 24 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen's name are suggested to Oxford Church of the Nazarene, 116 E.
