Age 92, of Claymont, DE, passed away on July 11, 2010, at Manor Care, Pike Creek.
Elsie had a long and wonderful life and will be dearly missed. Elsie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who devoted her entire life to her family. She also had a great love for animals and had many pets throughout her life.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Engberg, Sr., her parents, Samuel and Amanda Johnson and her sister, Leila Johnson DeLuke. She is survived by her son, Albert M. Engberg, Jr., her daughter, Julie Pierce and her husband Robert, her grandson, Matthew and her nephew, Peter DeLuke.
The family would like to thank the staff at Manor Care, Pike Creek for the kind and compassionate care that they provided to Elsie during her illness.
Services and burial will be private.
