The last time I saw George was when I was jogging in Rockford Park, perhaps 50 years ago. The Haldas home on 37th St. in Wilmington, DE. was open to many school friends. Georges sister, Irene, was in my class at Harlan, PS DuPont and U of DE. Since I just learned of Georges death today, June 4, 2018, I could not resist writing to the family.
Life is but a vapor that is here and vanishes away. I am so glad I have come to trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior. Because of Him we believers have eternal life in Heaven.
It is interesting to know that Irene Haldas Long has helped restore the Queen Theater in Wilmington.
