John E. "Jack"

Coppock Sr.

Age 79, of Wilmington, formerly of Ocean City, NJ, born Nov. 5, 1933 in Chester, PA, died quietly in his sleep on April 10, 2013 following a long illness, with his family by his side.

He is survived by his former wife and caretaker Joyce Nolan of Wilmington, DE; along with four children: Linda and husband Keith Hall of Marblehead, MA, John E. Coppock of Baltimore, Robert P. Coppock and wife Joanne of Haverford, PA, Thomas C. Coppock of Newark, DE; and 9 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.

Being 1 of 11 children, he graduated from Chester High School where he played varsity basketball. He was an avid Philly sports fan and love going to Cape May, New Jersey. Jack was a tireless worker, instilling that trait in his children. He was a man of multiple talents and a wonderful example if hard work. He will be missed by his family and friends

Memorial Service Thursday evening 6:30 pm in THE FRANK C. VIDEON FUNERAL HOME, Sproul and Lawrence Rds., Broomall, where friends may call after 5:30 pm Donations may be sent to Compassionate Care Hospice, 5610 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19808. Interment private.
