John Spautz Obituary
Newark, DE - John M. Spautz, age 60 of Newark, DE passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Maria S. Spautz, his sister, Sharon Acquaviva and his twin sister, Susan (Garry) Pate; his sons, Dan Spautz (Jenna) and Tommy Spautz and two granddaughters, Harper Leigh and Brynleigh.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph D. Spautz and Ethel G. Spautz and his sister, Marlene Butler.
John was born in Summit, NJ and graduated from Chatham High School. He worked for DonJon Marine Co, Hillside, NJ until moving to Delaware in 1998. His most recent employment was with the Shell Station on Limestone Rd., where he was affectionately known as "Jack" He loved photography, Van Halen, helicopters and the Cubs!
Friends may visit with his family on Friday, April 6 from 1-2 pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek where a memorial service will follow at 2 pm.

My condolences to Johns family for their loss. I haven't seen John in probably 45 years, but I fondly remember him coming to visit Dubuque with Uncle Joe & Aunt Ethel. We all piled in a vechicle & went to a Cubs game, had a great time. God bless you all.
