Joseph Lawrence Haman, age 69, of Bridgeville, DE went to be with his Lord on September 29, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Orlando, FL, the son of the late Albert and Madlyne Haman. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of VFW post 4961 in Seaford and the American Legion Post 4 in Seaford. Joe worked at E. I. Dupont in Seaford before retiring in 1991. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and going to car shows. He loved guns and classic cars and hot rods which he owned several.

He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Pamela Fleming Haman; a son, Michael T. Haman (Laura); a daughter, Carol A. Haman; 2 stepchildren, Angela Miller and Jason Myers (Jenn); 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Judy Green of Felton and Susan Biddle of Florida and a brother, Richard Biddle of Florida.

Services will be on Sunday, October 5th at Noon at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford, DE, where friends may call from 11 to 12. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Inc., 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or the VFW Post 4961, 9767 Middleford Rd., Seaford, DE 19973.
