Joyner ONDIMU Obituary

Joyner Ondimu Joyner Ondimu, age 23, daughter of Samuel and Jacklin Ondimu, departed this life suddenly, February 8, 2005, in Pike Creek Valley, Newark, DE. She was born on June 1, 1981, in Kisii District, Kenya, East Africa. Joyner worked as a residential counselor for Chimes Group Homes. She was a Nursing Student at Delaware Technical College and worshipped at Parkview Assembly of God Church in Newark, DE. Joyner was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Polistiana Nyarangi. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Samuel and Jacklin Ondimu; 4 brothers and sisters at home, and her maternal grandparents, Obonya and Pauline Onkundi all of Kenya. She is also survived by her older sister, Letitia and her husband, Ezekiel Ogendo; Uncles, George Omari and John Mayaka and their families; aunts, Joyce Maneno, Milka Onyiego and Margaret Mongare and their families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends of Delaware who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held at Parkview Assembly of God Church, 235 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark, DE on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 5 pm. Friends may call starting at 4 pm. Burial will be in Kisii Cemetery in Kenya. The families suggest contributions in Joyner's memory be made to the Joyner Ondimu Memorial Fund, c/o Strano & Feeley Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702.
