Elkton, MD - Julie Michele Griffith, age 58, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, surrounded by family. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of Donald W. and Gwendolyn Cornelius Shehan.
Julie was a clerk at Leeds Elementary School, Elkton, and previously worked for MBNA.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband of 24 years, Donald S. Griffith; children, Amanda M. Fesel, J. Christopher Hocking, Jeremy S. Griffith, Christina L. Trimble and Matthew Griffith; siblings, Donna L. Batten and Daniel W. Shehan; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral service 12 Noon, Monday, December 4, 2017, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD. Visitation 10 a.m. Interment in Sharps Cemetery, Fair Hill, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leeds Elementary School P.T.O., 615 Deaver Road, Elkton, MD 21921; or to Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 13 Read's Way, Suite 203, New Castle, DE 19720; or send flowers to a friend or loved one.
