Nashua, NH - Kathleen "Kate" L. Blatchford,74, of Nashua, NH died Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Newton Wellesley Skilled Nursing Center in Wellesley, MA.
Born in Southbridge, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Louise Blatchford. She graduated from Hingham High School with the class of 1962. Kate earned a BA in Education from Hood College in Maryland and a Masters in Special Education from the University of Delaware. Kate was a teacher at Appoquinimink High School in Delaware, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed writing and doing crafts.
She is survived by her son, Chris Modarelli of OH; daughter, Marcia and her husband, George Cragg of Westford, MA; brothers, Peter and his wife, Sami Blatchford of MA and Lynd and his wife, Jeanne Blatchford of North Berwick, ME; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
