Linda Bryson Obituary
AGE: 73 • Glenn Mills, PA
Linda S. Bryson passed away on April 7, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Buffalo, NY to Ira and Lillian Swinehart.
Linda graduated from Kent State University in Ohio and received a Master of Education in Educational Development from the University of Delaware. She was a teacher at heart who spent 35 years in Delaware public schools and especially loved teaching first grade. She was also active in Fox Hill Farm community activities.
She is survived by her husband, Noel Bryson; children, Kimberly Lennon (Andrew) and Sarah Buswell (Robert); 4 loving grandchildren; and her sister, Joan Beckman (Robert).
Services for Linda will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017 at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilm., DE. A visitation will begin at 10:00am with a service following at 11:00am. Burial is private.

How blessed I was to have Linda as a colleague my first three years of teaching at Brandywood Elementary (the original one!) . I have never forgotten her generosity with ideas, materials, and tips. One of my favorite images of Linda is the sparkle that was always in her eyes. She smiled from her soul and she made everyone around her feel cared for and important. While our earthly loss saddens us, it is good to know that Linda no longer suffers. I pray that her family finds the memories stronger than the loss as time passes. Always celebrate the kind, generous, helpful lady we loved. Noel and Beth - special greetings to you.

So very sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She taught at Brandywine School, with my sister Helen Stimson, for many years. Mrs. B was a dear friend to Helen. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Noel and Family, Dave and I are so sorry for your loss! Linda was an extraordinary individual who touched the lives of many!!! I wish we would have had the opportunity to visit more often, but blessed with the times we were able to visit. She will be Greatly missed. Love Dave and Kim Wear.
