RAYMOND ASMUS Obituary

Raymond W.

Asmus, Sr.

Age 56, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on September 5, 2009, in Heartland Hospice House.

Mr. Asmus was a supervisor with Home Depot for the past 13 years and was previously a manager with Cumberland Farms for 17 years. He was a devoted man of God and was a member of Parkview Assembly of God Church and an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Raymond and his wife Doris would have celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary this month.

In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by his 2 children, son Raymond W. Asmus, Jr. and his wife Casie of Nottingham, PA, daughter Vicki Coldren and her husband Brian of Frederick, MD; granddaughters, Trinity Coldren and Abigail Asmus; brothers, Bob Asmus and his wife Judy, of Kentucky, Lennie Asmus and his wife Robin of Wilmington, DE and step sister Monika Leighton of Tennessee.

A viewing will be held on Thursday September 10, from 11 am - 12 noon, in the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3710 Kirkwood Highway at Duncan Rd. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Burial will be held privately

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parkview Assembly of God Church, 235 Polly Drummond Hill Rd. Newark, DE 19711.
