Wilmington - Robert Caputo, age 60, passed away peacefully May 30, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and children.

He was born in Wilmington, DE and is the son of Dan J. Caputo and the late Patricia Caputo. Bobby graduated from McKean HS in 1978 and then went to work for Amtrak as an electrician in the Wilmington Maintenance Shop.

In his free time, he liked taking walks, spending time at the beach and loved watching the Miami Dolphins and Phillies play. But Bobby's most treasured moments were spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

He will be missed by his wife and best friend, Suzanne of 39 years; 3 children, Robert (Amanda), Stephanie (Jamin) and David (Vanessa); grandchildren, James Ryan, Sophia, Jiada, Jaxson, Mia and one on the way; father, Dan, Sr.; mother-in-law, Doris Granger (Dave); brother, Dan, Jr., 3 sisters-in-law, Cathy, Mary and Debby and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Bobby was also preceded in death by his beloved brother David.

A visitation will be held at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington on Friday, June 4 beginning at 10am, where a memorial service will follow at 11am. Burial will be held privately. Services will be held in accordance with the current health directives.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
