AGE: 62 • Wilmington
Ronald C. Forsyth, 62, of Wilmington, DE, died suddenly on February 28, 2014. Born in Upland, PA, he resided over 10 years in Wilmington, DE, previously residing in Napa Valley, CA and Brookhaven, PA. Ronald graduated from Sun Valley High School, class of 1969 and Penn State University in 1973 where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. A Golf Course Superintendent, he was employed by Edgmont Country Club and Whitford Hills Golf Club before relocating in Napa Valley, CA. He then worked at Vineyard Knolls Golf Club and Chimney Rock Golf Course, both located in Napa, CA. He was a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America. Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Forsyth, mother, Margaret Egbert Trader and step father, Gene Trader.
Survivors: Brother, Russell E. Forsyth, nieces, Lynn Shepherd and Kara Forsyth, nephew, Russell G. Forsyth, great nieces, Ashlynn, Ambria, Amya and Ava and a great nephew, Avery.
Services: Saturday, 10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA
Visitation: Saturday 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, Garnet Valley, PA.
Interment: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
Contributions: Donations in his memory may be made to the Delaware Humane Association, 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.

I want to offer my condolences to Ron's family and friends.
I shared an apartment at Penn State with Ron, John Saviski and some other friends. I was a finance major so Ron and I also shared some classes. I remember him as being very intelligent and very entertaining. Our paths never crossed after college, but I was fortunate to know him and I valued his friendship.
