My deepest condolances to the Wasfi family. Dr. Wasfi was a kind and gentle man that treated all of his students with respect and dignity. I learned so much from him in the Chemistry classes that I took at DSU. I will always remember that he not only remembered your first name, but your entire name and he greeted you accordingly.

I am saddened to learn of his death. I"ll always remember the first time I saw him on campus, I thought he resembled my father so much and was so tickled by it. He spoke to me with such a friendly and warm hello. I never had a class with Dr. Wasfi, but saw him regularly around campus, and he always said hello and ask how was my day. I'm sure he impacted many many students at DSU. Ones that had him for a class and ones like myself that just saw him stroll around campus with his warm smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. He was a great person.
