SANDRA STEELE Obituary
Derrickson Steele
Age 64, of Milton, DE, passed away on Tuesday, August 03, 2010, at Beebe Medical Center.
She was born in Lewes,DE, on Tuesday, July 23, 1946, daughter of the late Harry and Ruby Earline Warren Derrickson. Mrs. Steele was a licensed cosmetologist and the former owner/operator along with her mother of the Touch of Class Beauty Salon in Midway Village. She had also worked in the office of Carlton's Mens Store of Rehoboth Beach and was currently the co-owner of Steele's Gun Shop and the Midway Village Shopping Center. She was also very active in the Tri State Bird Rescue and Research.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Charles Steele, two brothers, Robert Derrickson of Rehoboth Beach and James Derrickson of Thomasville, GA., and three nieces, Kathryn Savrer of Christiansburg, VA, Devon Derrickson of Lewes and Kelly Weidman of New York State.
All services are private.
