Tae SONG Obituary

Tae Sup Song, M.D. Age 79, died Monday, November 3, 2003 at his home in Hockessin, DE. Dr. Song was a graduate of Kyunggi High School and Seoul National University Medical School. He was also trained in New York City in 1954 at the Columbia University Oncology Department. Coming from South Korea, Dr. Song has been in private practice as an internist, oncologist, hematologist as well as serving as a Medical Director at The Ingleside Nursing Home since 1970. He is survived by his wife, Ki Ok Song; his 2 sons; 3 daughters; and 5 grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law; and 2 nephews and several nieces. Relatives, friends and his patients are all invited to attend the viewing at the CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin on Thursday evening, November 6 at 7 pm where the memorial service will begin at 8 pm. Burial will be private. Dr. Son's family would like to thank his loyal patients, friends, and colleagues and also the staff of Ingleside Nursing Home for all their loving support. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to Delaware Korean United Methodist Church, 717 Loveville Rd.
