AGE: 45 •
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2014, after a 15 month courageous battle with cancer.
She attended Our Lady of Fatima School and graduated from Delcastle High School. She was a Master hairstylist for Town & Country Salon prior to her near fatal car accident in 2001, which left her disabled.
She was the granddaughter of the late Glen and Priscilla Moser.
Roni is survived by her parents, Joseph and Drue Vari; her brother, Vincent Vari; her niece, Brynn Vari; her devoted fiancée, Jeff, who was her caretaker for the past 8 years; her grandmother, Helen Vari; her aunt and uncle, Pat and David Moser; her great-uncles, Mario DiAngelo, Sr., and Robert Cook; her great-aunts, Loretta Cook and Nancy DiAngelo; her godparents, Jerry and Tanya Windish; many cousins; and her dog, Manny.
Roni's family would like to thank all the nurses at Seasons Hospice for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Service at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, 2220 North duPont Highway, New Castle, DE on Monday, June 2, at 11:00 am. A viewing will take place at Krienen Funeral Home, 34 West 6th Street, New Castle, on Sunday, June 1, from 4:00-6:00 pm. Friends may also visit with the family at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel on Monday morning from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
