I know this is a lil late Mr. Slockett passed a few years ago. I was just thinking about interesting people I have met in my life an Mr Walt came to mind an I googled him knowing what I would find that he had passed. I worked on the Blue Unit at the Vet home where he lived. He was such a joy I looked forward to seeing. We both had a love of motor cycles and he shared with me his cross country adventures on his Harley that he had after he had served. I told him he was " One Cool Dude " an he smiled. I enjoyed listening to his stories and he was cute as a button. His heart an personality was huge. We were both not the tallest people lol. Mr. Water Slockett thank you for blessing me with your presence you will always be close to my heart.
Respectfully,
Louise Salandanan

Walter was a wonderful gentleman and I loved getting to know him during his stay at Windsor Place! Enjoyed looking at photos of his rustic twig furniture, too. He sure was a great guy.

Dad:

I think you must be with Emma now which I'm sure makes you both very happy. While we all miss you here, we know you're in a wonderful place where there is no sadness, illness or want.

With love,

John, Lynne and Lauren

Walter will be truly missed! He was sweet, respectful, and funny. We had some good times when I worked at the Veterans home even when I would visit. Walter and I would talk for the longest time about sports especially baseball. I will truly miss you Walter!
