Albert Anthony Moretti

Albert Anthony Moretti, 84 Albert Anthony Moretti, 84, a long time resident of Rose Valley and a parishioner of St. John Chrysostom Parish passed away on July 24, 2013 at home. Albert was born to the late Gabriel and Concetta nee Barnebei Moretti. He attended St. Anthony Grammar School and graduated from St. James Catholic High School and graduated from Temple School of Pharmacy. Albert was a Sergeant in the US Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Later he was employed by CIBA GEIGY Corporation until his retirement. After he retired Albert was actively involved in service as a Eucharistic Minister and altar server at St. John Chrysostom Church. Albert was a member of Delaware County and the State of Delaware Pharmaceutical Associations. He was also a member of the Rose Valley Town Watch. Albert was predeceased by his brother Joseph Moretti. Survivors: His loving wife of 56 years Elvira E. Nee Ferrone Moretti, and his five daughters Irene Ciciretti of Swedesboro, NJ, Marie Elisa Wagner of Newark, DE, Celeste Broce of Atlanta, GA, Joy Neighbors of Richmond, VA, Andrea Gorman of Wallingford, His Sisters Josephine Greer of Brookhaven, Mary Gilmore of Chester, Gloria Christaldi of Aston, his brother Gabriel "Duke" Moretti of Media; Grandchildren: Kiersten Shank, John and Sarah Luposello, Ryan and Josh Neighbors, Griffen, Fiona and Pate Gorman. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, 10:30 A.M., in St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, where friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 10:20 A.M. Entombment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery Mass Cards: Would be preferred by the family.
