Ann Burget Obituary

Ann M. Burget, 75 of Crum Lynne passed Friday April 7, 2017 at the Taylor Hospice Residence in Ridley Park. She was born Aug. 16, 1941 in Shamokin, PA to the late Joseph & Margaret (Gallagher) Mahoney. Ann was raised in Mt. Carmel, PA and was a 1959 graduate of Mt. Carmel Catholic High School. She enjoyed family vacations to Knoebels Grove and North Wildwood as well as traveling both nationally and internationally following her husbands’ retirement. Ann always loved the opportunity to attend her grandchildren’s recitals and sporting events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Jerome, Joseph, Margaret, James and Robert. Survivors include her beloved husband, Thomas “Tom” F. Burget; Loving children, Jo Ann (Gessie) Nasino, Michael (Christine) Burget and Thomas Burget; Grandchildren, Ryan & Kaitlyn; Brother, William (Mary) Mahoney; Also loving family and friends. Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday from 9:30 – 11 AM at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann’s memory to Taylor Hospice Residence, 300 Johnson Ave, Ridley Park, PA 19078. Online condolences at www.cavanaghfuneralhome.com

My deepest condolences to Tom and family at your loss. I have nothing but great memories growing up across the street from you all. Ann was truly one of the nicest people I ever met. She was great, especially to my Mom and Grandmom. Rest in peace Ann, you will be missed. May God bless the Burget family at this most difficult time.
