Ann LeCates Obituary

Ann L. LeCates, 67 Ann L. LeCates, 67, of Linwood, formerly of Aston, died on March 26th surrounded by her family and friends. Known to many as "Sis", she graduated in 1964 from Sun Valley High School in Aston. She was a long-time employee of Danaher Motion (formerly Harowe) in West Chester. Ann had a deep love of her family and was known to be a mother, friend, confidant and mentor to those she met along the way. She had a huge heart, was incredibly honest, extremely loyal, giving and dedicated in every aspect of her life. She helped to guide family, friends and co-workers to reach their own aspirations. Her life was filled with the joys of being with family and friends enjoying activities such as bowling, playing cards, white water rafting and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for traveling and enjoyed experiencing new things and places alongside her husband, Bill. She lived a full and complete life. She was predeceased by her father, Andrew J. Sullivan, Jr.; Brother, Andrew Sullivan III; Sister, Florence Sullivan. Survivors: Her husband and best friend of nearly 35 years, William S. Page; Mother, Anna Sullivan of Aston; Children, Melissa Jenkins (Frank), Jason Page (Brenda) and William Page; Grandchildren, John LeCates (Juli), Dillon Jenkins, Jaclyn Jenkins, Alexis Jenkins, Emma Page and Jason Page, Jr.; Siblings, Janice Sninchak, Lee Sullivan-Herrick (Noel), David Sullivan, Dennis Sullivan (Paula), Debbie Matteo (Mike), Joyce Gannon (John), Kathleen McCarthy (Don), Terry Dunn (Tom), Joseph Sullivan (Stephanie) and Shirley Sullivan Paranich (Drew); Many nieces, nephews and friends that she adopted as her own children throughout her life. Services: Her memorial service will be held 2p.m., Saturday, April 5th, at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 1p.m.-2p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Will be private. Online condolences can be sent through: Jwardfuneralhome.com.

I was just thinking about how she saved me and her when we were being abducted in Chester when we were kids. Also,I think of how when we lived in New Jersey, we would walk into town with our allowance and buy our cut-outs and ice cream and she always led the way as big sister.
