I am very late to send my condolences but want to express my feelings about Mrs. Bingham. I knew her as Mrs. Jenkinson from the late 1960s. She always welcomed me into her home as Carol´s friend and often asked me to stay for dinner. I lost touch but living to 99 was amazing to hear and I am not surprised at her longevity. She was a strong caring woman and I was privileged to have known her.

We are so sorry to hear the news about Mrs Bingham. We lived across the street from this remarkable woman for 20 years until she went to the nursing home and we lost touch and try to reconnect but we’re never able find her location . She was in incredible woman and had so much energy I could go on and on about stories about her taking care of the outside of her home and shovel her snow well into her 96 th year . Iam lost for word this lady was one of a kind , strong as an ox and had a great sense of humor . She will be truly missed by Mary Shea Maggie and I
RIP Mrs Bingham I

Barbara was a good friend to my mother and I will always remember her caring and good will. She was a dynamic and gracious lady. I'll always remember her.

I knew Barbara as director of the youth choir at Leverington Presbyterian Church when I was a teenager. She was an inspiring person with keen eyes and a dry sense of humor.
After I married and moved to the Netherlands we lost contact until a few years ago, when on a visit to the U.S. my husband and I dropped by for a visit at her home in Havertown. Barbara, in her nineties, still mowed her lawn and took care of her house. She made us lunch and was interested in our lives. She faithfully and regularly prayed for us and for others we had known at Leverington during the 1950s. I look forward to meeting this very special lady again!
