Catherine M. Simon

Catherine M. (nee McEnhill) Simon,87 Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Catherine M. "Cass" (nee McEnhill) Simon, died October 30, 2011 at the age of 87. Mrs. Simon was born in Philadelphia, raised in the "Meadows" section of S.W. Philadelphia and later was a longtime resident of Lester. She was pre-deceased by her husband John H. Simon and siblings Marie Lashno and Charles McEnhill. Mrs. Simon was a longtime secretary at the Franklin Mint. She was a member of the Riddle Hospital Women's Auxiliary and belonged to the New Century Club. Cass was also very active with many groups within her Maris Grove community in Glen Mills. Survivors: Devoted mother of John F. (Pat) Simon, Richard J. (Janet) Simon and Cathleen (Michael) Cord; 8 grandchildren John, Michael, Jeffrey, Bryan, Jennifer, Shannon, Erin and Daniel; 5 great-grandchildren Andrew, Sean, Brittney, Camryn and Matthew. Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday after 9:30 AM in the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Valleybrook Rd., Chester Heights. Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM. Burial: Private Contributions: Benevolent Fund at Maris Grove, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
