Constance Donnelly Obituary

On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Constance Donnelly, loving wife, and mother, passed away at age 81. Connie was born on September 30, 1941, in Lansdowne, PA to Alfonzo and Wanda Crocetti. Connie received her BS degree in education from Penn State University and taught for 7 years. She began a career in sales with the Town Talk Newspaper where she worked until she retired. She was happily married to Edward Donnelly for over 45 years. They spent their summers in Ocean City, NJ. At the shore they enjoyed walking, biking, people watching, but most importantly, spending time together. Connie had a passion for wood crafting, crocheting, and counted cross stitch. Her work was admired by many, and she loved giving her pieces to family and friends. She spent countless hours creating ornaments to give to people at Christmas. She loved the holiday season and giving handmade gifts to her family and friends. Connie leaves behind her husband Edward; daughter Tracy (Joe) Paine; sons Edward (Jean) Donnelly Jr., John (Jackie) Donnelly, Jeff (Shana) Donnelly, Michael (Leigh) Donnelly; grandchildren Jake, Corinne, Shane (Gen), Erica (Cody), Eddie, Mackenzie, Joey, Daniel, Cole, Brooke, Morgan; great-grandchildren Case, Emma, Peyton, Tatum, and Waylon. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 10-11am at St. Francis De Sales Church, 35 New Rd. Aston, PA followed by a Memorial Mass at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Connie's honor to Fox Chase Cancer Center (www.foxchase.org).

Truly saddened to hear of Connie´s passing. We worked with Connie for so many years and can attest to her wonderful qualities as a co-worker and friend. Every Christmas we enjoy tree trimming and taking a peek to see what year Connie crafted it.

Our condolences to Ed and the entire Donnelly family.

God bless Tracy and Ed and the entire family as you grieve the loss of Connie. I have many wonderful memories of Connie and I will cherish her needlepoints commemorating my marriage and birth of my children, both hang proudly in my home. When I put up my Christmas Tree this year I will take extra special care of her handmade ornaments made with love. Rest in Eternal Peace Connie.
