When you grow up with someone your experiences become a foundation for a lifetime of reflection and fond memories. In David Stead I will forever live with memories of my last Halloween as a tick or treater (we were the Blues Brothers). The attempts to make music as we dreamed of concert hall stardom.
When you grow up with someone your experiences become a foundation for a lifetime of friending people who don't look like you or will travel the same path as you. Dave will forever be Stead, and I will be Douglas. His skin and my skin was never and will never be the same, but in friendship our brotherhood is eternal, unpigmented, and like pure water; unblemished
When you grow up with someone it hurts to know that an earthly existence has been lost, but reflection and fond memories remain. Thank you my friend for being a friend, as reflection and fond memories remain. You will be missed but not forgotten!
