Ervin Perry Obituary

Ervin F. Perry, age 93 Ervin F. Perry, age 93, of Morton, PA entered into peace at Sterling Nursing Home on Sept. 23, 2013. He was born in Franklinton NC to the late Zolly and Eulah Murray Perry. He served in the US Army and received The Good Conduct Medal, The American Campaign Medal. The European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Stars and The World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Perry was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Morton where he was Trustee Emeritus, and a former senior usher. He was a member of the VFW Collins Chamber #6541 and the Morton Republican Club. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Joshua Perry, Zolly Perry, Jr. and Fannie Jackson. Survivors: His wonderful memory will be cherished by his wife Rose Perry, foster son Deacon Gregory Cooper, God-daughter Melanie Blair-Garrison, God-son Fletcher Jackson, Jr., two loving nephews Deacon Chester "Bo" Blair, Sr. and James Murray, brother-in-law William R. Dickerson, many nieces other nephews cousins and friends. Service: Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, 10:00 a.m., First Baptist Church of Morton, 500 N. Morton Ave., Morton, PA Viewing: 8:00a.m.-10:00 a.m. (No viewing after Eulogy) Interment: Eden Cemetery, Collingdale, PA 19023 Arrangements: Earl L.
