Fran was one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew. As the mom of my Best Friend, Pat Mathias, while living in Toby Farms,I knew her well. She was so kind to me and my son Matthew, who was her grandsons Best friend too. He called her Mee Ma. RIP dear Fran

My Great Aunt Frances was kind, patient and caring. As a young child, my parents told me that I was named after her (my middle name). Many occasions throughout the year my mother would drive my siblings and I to visit my grandmother. Often, my Aunt Frances would be there too. Sitting around the table, we would chat about the day's itinerary, current events, the grass, hedges, crickets, flowers, etc... Both my grandma and Aunt Frances had a lot of life experiences and shared this information during our conversations. My Aunt Frances was always patient, kind and caring. She showed this from her words and actions. Every Christmas my aunt would mail me a card with money inside. I never forgot that she always thought of me. I will miss my Aunt Frances, but in my heart she is always there: a gentle soul.
