Saddened to hear of our friend Gerry's passing. I was lucky to know Gerry through WW, we worked together for many years. She was the strongest woman I've ever known, no matter how many times life knocked her down she came back fighting. We laughed, we cried, we vented, we shared our lives and I learned so much from her. I will always remember her love for her son Todd. She was so proud to be his Mom, and I know she was pained to know that she would leave him too soon because of this dreadful cancer. She spoke often of her beloved sister Pat and how grateful she was to have her in her life. She lived life to the fullest even with the adversity. She was a survivor never a victim. She will be missed.

Gerry was a breath of fresh air. I saw her often working the greeting card section at CVS. She always had a moment to chat and a wonderful smile to share! I haven't seen her in a while, but have asked about her at the store and was told that she retired and wasn't doing well. I was so sorry to see her death notice in the paper. God bless her---she is no longer suffering. May she rest in peace.

Todd, I am very sorry for the loss of your mom. You are in my prayers for comfort and peace. Your mom will always hold a very special place in my heart as a loving family member who was also a true friend.
