Jeanne R. Langdon

Jeanne R. Langdon of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Essington, PA passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 4, 2022, at the age of 75. She was born in Ridley Park, PA to the late Augusta & Helen (nee Barrett) Rossé. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years William “Bud” Langdon; children Paris (Tom Kelly) Langdon-Kelly and Martin (Heather) Langdon; grandchildren Dakota, Skye, Holden and Hadleigh; great-aunt Juanita “Bobbie” Raymond; many cousins and second cousins. She was predeceased by aunts Dorothy “Billo” Christenson and Mary White; uncle Joseph Barrett. Jeanne enjoyed cutting hair, talking to friends or family on the phone, dancing, The Red Hatters, shopping, butter on any food especially on crab and spending time on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk with her husband Bud. She worked for many years as a beautician in her own salon, Jeanne’s Beauty Salon in Essington, PA. She was known for always running late to events or wherever she had to be. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA. Her prayer service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home, interment will be private.
