John J. Mateu III, 51 Of Swarthmore John J. Mateu III, 51, passed away September 27, 2011 at home. Son of the late John J. Mateu Jr. Fondly known as "Johnny Maytag", he enjoyed cooking and skiing. Survivors: Beloved son of Pauline May Mateu (nee Roller); loving father of John Mateu IV, Jessica Lynn Naugle and Jamie Mateu; loving brother of Carol Callagher. Service: Family and friends invited to his Funeral Mass Monday 11 AM St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Mohawk & Seminole Aves., Norwood, PA 19074. Viewing from 9 AM at the church. Burial Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Marple Newtown Combined Veterans Alliance, 2340 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Arr: McFadden Funeral Home

John, I want to thank you for all the spur of the moment golf games, the teasings you always took with a sense of humor. The many times you took out to help my family day or night, and I hope your children know how much you love them because they were always number one on your list and you were so proud of them.
