Lillian C. Cornish

Lillian C. (McCracken) Cornish, 77 Lillian C. (McCracken) Cornish, 77, of Brookhaven, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Lillian attended St. Robert's Elementary School and Eddystone High School. She was a Crossing Guard for years which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was also employed at Crozer-Chester Medical Center for many years until her retirement in 1987. Lillian loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, especially attending all of their sporting events. She took pleasure in coaching the girl's volleyball team at St. Roberts. Her many four legged friends brought her great joy. She was the daughter of the late Thomas M. and Lillian C. (Hobaugh) McCracken and wife of the late Harry C. Cornish, Jr. Survivors: her daughters: Catherine L. Gannon (late Steven), Cynthia L. Chopko (Alan), and Janet L. Axilbund (David); grandchildren: Christina M. Hughes (Edward), Stephanie A. Gannon, Cody T. Cornish, and Haley M. Axilbund; brother: Thomas M. McCracken, Jr.; and sister-in-law: Kathleen Hamlett.
