Pleasant Baptist Church, located at AR-139, Monette, AR 72447.Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with Bob Blankenship officiating, graveside services to follow at the Monette Cemetery. Floral tributes may be sent to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Please arrange for delivery between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026.Sandra Faye Cornish is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Cornish; her daughter, Stephanie Lockwood (and her husband Kevin) their children Aiden and Addison: her stepdaughter, Amy Glazier (and her husband Erik); their children Isabel, Dylan and Jackson: her stepson Jeremy Michalec (and his wife Jaime): their children Destiny, Natalie and Michael; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Margaret Dudley (and her husband Gary); and her brother Larry Pugh. She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence Pugh and Margie McCary; and her step-daughter Allison Cornish.
Sandra will be missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her strong will and unwavering determination, traits that defined her approach to life and allowed her to overcome many challenges with resilience. With her sharp mind and firm independence, Sandra lived life on her own terms, never shying away from expressing her views or standing up for what she believed. Sandra was deeply loved by her family, just as she loved them profoundly and without reservation. She was cherished deeply by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved with equal depth and unwavering devotion.
