Pauline Coles

Pauline Coles, 84 Pauline Coles, 84, of Darby, Pa., entered into eternal rest, Monday, August 12, 2013 at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital while surrounded by loving family members and friends. Pauline was born on February 5, 1929 to the late Julius S. King and Viola King-Adylett. She was the eighth of twelve children, nine preceded her in death. Pauline was raised in Darby Township and was educated in the Darby Township school system. She was well liked by all who knew her and her humor always made people laugh. Pauline was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E church in Darby, Pa. She served as a stewardess and later became stewardess emeritus. Pauline worked for the Jonas Family, owners of Jonas Stationery Office Supply Store in Upper Darby, Pa. for many years. Pauline also worked for Arrow's laundry service on West Chester Pike in Broomall, Pa and for the A-plus store in Darby. Survivors: Pauline leaves to cherish her fond memories seven children, one foster daughter, forty seven grandchildren, sixty great grand, and one great great grand, one god son, one sister, one brother and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
