Raymond George Smith of Johnston Raymond G. Smith, age 85, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013. He was born April 26, 1928 to Raymond and Bernice Smith. Survivors: His wife, Ellen (O'Neill); 4 sons, 4 daughters, 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers. Memorial Mass: will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Our Lady of Peace Chapel in Bishop Drumm Care Center. Inurnment: will follow in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, IA.
