Hard to believe it's been 10 years. I'm sure the Rummies have one heck of a card game going. She is still remembered and missed.

"Mrs. Apple" was a dear friend to my grandmother and wonderfully kind to me.(I couldn't pronounce 'Rappold' when we met) It is with great sadness I write this. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Ruth and my mother, Alice McHale Kelly, became great friendss while both were students at GlenNor High school and that friendship lasted until my mother passed a few years back. Thru the years a group of GlenNor "girls" played cards weekly well into their 80s. With Ruth (or Ruthie Apple as my then 5 year old nephew called her)gone, the last three survivers of the "girls" have all passed in recent months. Ruth lived a very full life, had two great "kids" and lived to be a great great grandmother with her wits fully about her until the end. Great Mother Special lady!! Great life!! God Bless!

I HAVE KNOWN MRS. RAPPOLD SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL IN 1956 WHEN SHE WAS MY NEXT-DOOR NEIGHBOR IN NORWOOD. SHE ALWAYS HAD MY DEEPEST RESPECT. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE, AND MAY HER FAMILY BE COMFORTED IN THEIR GRIEF.
