Timothy J. "Fun" Foy

Timothy J. "Fun" Foy, 67, died suddenly Nov 27, 2015 at Taylor Hospital.
Mr. Foy was born in Phila. to the late William and Loretta Foy. He was a resident of Essington and formerly Darby. He was a 1968 graduate of Msgr. Bonner High School.
Mr. Foy was a proud member of the IBEW Local 98. He retired as a Journeyman Electrician in September of 2006 after 38 years.
Known to many as "Fun Foy" he truly enjoyed life. He was an avid Notre Dame and Philadelphia Sports fan and also enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. His memberships included Blessed Virgin Mary Church and The Knights of Columbus, Springfield where he was a 4th Degree Knight.
He was the husband of the late Marie K. (nee Swoyer) Foy and father of the late Timothy J. Foy, Jr.
Mr. Foy is survived by his children Sheila (David) Egleston and Shawn (Stacy) Foy, 5 grandchildren Sarah, Shayne, Alaina, Vivian and Oscar. Also survived by siblings, William & John Foy, Loretta Lukic, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Relatives, friends and fellow members of the IBEW Local 98 are invited to the Funeral Mass 10am Wed at BVM Church and viewing on Wed 8:30 to 9:45am at Marvil Funeral Home, 1110 Main St., Darby. Int. Saints Peter and Paul Cem.
